Let me describe myself: I'm like champagne and soft tacos.

Look, vanity's not my thing. I'll be the first to admit it.  I'm never going to be cast as the "model"...

But I've got GREAT hair.

Stand-up was the scariest thing I've ever encountered but it was probably

the best decision I've ever made.

People have always intrigued me; I want to feel and be part of every person. Walk in their shoes. Understand them from the inside out. Talk and be exactly like them. Is that why I can make anyone fall in love with me?  Maybe. It's definitely why I'm in entertainment.

Carmen Faulkner

Just some stuff I'm currently working on.

As you've probably guessed, my name is Carmen Faulkner. I was born and raised in Texas; West Texas to be exact. Very close to where Baby Jessica fell in the well actually. Weird, right?

Anyway... my parents owned a burrito and pizza factory that distributed burritos throughout the State of Texas. So one would think that I too would want to cook and take over the fam biz. But I didn't and I still don't cook.  I'm a self-proclaimed foodie though. Back to the point.

I started performing at a young age, taking dance at age 3. By the time I was in kindergarten, I had performed in three dance recitals, competed in a beauty pageant and won 2nd place.  As I said before, vanity is not my thing, so I ceased and desisted in all pageantry activities. Except for of course, I continued my dance for several years.

I had a dream when I was four that I was hosting the Academy Awards. True story.

Throughout my childhood and teen years I was involved in school plays, one act plays and skits. Believe it or not, I was a cheerleader for six years.  Being involved with literary competitions of poetry and prose readings throughout my education, I placed highly in competitions for my dramatic interpretation of each character I read for. I was hooked. I got the bug. I knew what I wanted to do with my life.

Under the direction of my mentor and fellow West Texan native, Karen Schneider, I received my first theatrical awards through One Act play programs for Best Supporting Actress and Honorable Mentions at State and Regional levels.

It was clear to me where my path would lie.

For a good time please call.
